Yes. They will accept an online sick leave certificate provided that the certificate is issued under the NMC Telemedicine Practice Guidelines 2020 and carries the issuing doctor’s NMC registration number and signature. 

Following is a list of sectors that accept: 

• Private Sector Employers: All major IT (TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Accenture), banks (HDFC, ICICI, Axis), and consumer companies accept telemedicine-issued sick leave certificates
