Yes, all our medical notes are as per NMC & WHO guidelines. If your employer/ education institute has any clarifications they could reach out to the coordinates of the Doctor on the medical certificate issued. 

Which Doctor can issue a medical certificate?

A Registered Medical Practioner or Doctor who has been recognized by any state/country  is eligible to issue a medical certificate to any person based on their discretion.

Are these medical certificates genuine?

Is there an upper limit of the sick leaves one can get?

The number of sick leaves a person can be sanctioned depends on the following factors:

  • The number of days you have mentioned in the form
  • The supporting medical documents that you can provide
  • The discretion of the doctor consulting the patient

In which case do I need to visit a doctor physically or get online consultation?

If your condition is not improving despite taking all the measures suggested, then you need to visit a doctor physically.

Is there medical leave format for students?

Colleges have outlined various formats for medical leave certificates. The types of certificates requested by colleges generally are sick leave certificate and fitness certificates.

Medical Certificate for College Leave or Sick Leave are certificates that outline your unavailability for college. The same is only valid if a registered medical practitioner with a valid registration number certifies about the medical condition of the patient. Most colleges look for handwritten medical certificates and prescriptions for authenticity too.

Will my health insurance cover the costs?

As a person with statutory health insurance, the costs for the online visit to the doctor are covered by your health insurance company. Since we are currently only allowed to issue private prescriptions, you only have to bear the costs for your medication yourself. As a privately insured person, you will receive an invoice as usual, which you can submit to your insurance company.

Who Needs to Obtain a Form 1A Medical Certificate?

A Form 1A medical certificate is required for all applicants who will drive commercial vehicles, artic lorries and buses. All drivers must be declared fit to hold a driving licence by a doctor or optometrist. This form must then be completed and submitted to the relevant authority during the application process. It is important to note that individuals who are found medically unfit to drive may still be able to obtain a licence with the right documentation, assessment and training.

How to Submit Your Form 1A Medical Certificate?

Submitting your Form 1A Medical Certificate is the final step in obtaining your driving licence. After you have correctly completed the form and had it signed by a qualified medical professional, it must be submitted to the relevant RTO along with any other documentation or tests required for your licence. Depending on the type of licence you are applying for, you may need to submit additional information such as proof of address. Once all the documents have been received, they will then be reviewed by the relevant authority before issuing your licence.

Where Can You Find an Approved Doctor or Clinic to Issue Your Form 1A Medical Certificate?

Approved doctors and clinics to issue your Form 1A Medical Certificate can be located through local sources. In some states, it may also be possible to obtain a Form 1A Medical Certificate from a specially appointed doctor, GP or clinic. Make sure that whatever service you choose is approved before starting the process of obtaining your certificate and also checking the state RTO rules. 

Is it necessary to do the eye and ear test?

Yes, Form 1A outlines an eye and ear test, and without that, we cannot facilitate the release of the certificate. We abide by all protocols of the National Medical Commission and the rules laid out by the Road Transport Office.

Can a Form 1A Medical Fitness Certificate be rejected?

The signed note (what we share post your tests) from a registered RMP works only when you upload it online. In case you choose to take a print of the copy shared with you and submit it offline, RTO officials do not accept it. As when you go offline, you have to attest the photo where the stamp is physically put and signed by the RMP. While uploading the documents online, if you do not follow the right process as mentioned on the parivahan site, the concerned authority will request you to upload the documents once again.

Do you provide green pen signatures for Form 1A?

We do not provide green pen signatures. Only a Doctor who is appointed in a Government Hospital can sign physically when on the premises of the hospital/ PHC with the green ink.

In what scenarios are refunds provided?

We provide refunds in cases where:

  • Underage User i.e. <18 years is applying without the knowledge of a caretaker and the doctor consultation is not yet done.
  • Proper medical history or current medical records of ailment is not available and is informed to the team before doctor consultation.
  • The User is asking for a certificate more than 5 times without getting the disease treated.
  • Certificate needed for regularization of insurance claims or government employees duty regularization or it’s a medico-legal case.
  • The Doctor has not contacted the User.
What are refundable and non-refundable document formats?

A non-refundable product/service refers to certain products/ services that are ineligible for a refund. If you have availed standalone doctor consultation or applied for a digital certificate on WhatsApp along with a doctor consultation for submission in India or abroad, these fall under the category of non-refundable products. Once you have made the payment for these products, if you decide to cancel or your case is rejected on any grounds as mentioned in our refund and cancellation policy, please note that no refund will be issued. For further information regarding non-refundable products, we recommend referring to our refund and cancellation policy.

  • For Indian Medical Certificates a charge of INR 199/- will be levied on refundable document formats. For Form 1A a charge of INR 250/- will be levied on refundable document formats. If you have chosen a non-refundable document format, there will be no refunds. There are no refunds when booking standalone online Doctor consultations.
  • For International Medical Certificates a charge of $5 will be levied on refundable document formats. If you have chosen a non-refundable document format, there will be no refunds.
  • There are no refunds or edits made to non-refundable services.
In what scenarios user will not be entitled to any refunds

User will not be entitled to any refunds in cases where:

  • User has chosen a non-refundable product.
  • User is unwilling to attend an online doctor consultation.
  • User has booked a standalone online Doctor consultation.
  • User does not attend the online appointment, without canceling the appointment at least 60 mins before the appointment time.
  • Doctor has attempted to call the User 3 times and the User is not attending the online doctor consultation.
  • The certificate has been issued.
  • User’s ailment claims are found incorrect/illegal.
  • User contradicts their own medical condition w.r.t to the details shared in the form and during doctor consultation.
  • User fails to produce the documents supporting the ailment mentioned by them after the online consultation.
  • User has attended a Doctor consultation and then wishes to cancel their order.
  • User after booking has not responded to any calls or emails from the support team for more than 7 days after booking their order.

The user/customer is not entitled to any refund in case of non-issuance of Medical Certificate after going through the consultation process with the Doctor if in case, the Doctor is not satisfied and convinced that it is a fit case for the issuance of Medical Certificate. It is hereby clarified that the charge paid by the customers/users is for two heads i.e., facilitating the consultation/opinion with the RMP in a convenient and expeditious manner, and the fees of the RMP for consultation done, which in no way implies that the Doctor shall mandatorily issue the Medical Certificate, which is subject to his/her collective satisfaction and laws of the land. For Indian Medical Certificates a charge of INR 199/- will be levied on all refundable document formats in case a refund is requested and initiated before a doctor consultation and INR 499/- will be levied on all refundable document formats in case a refund is requested and initiated post doctor consultation.

How do I initiate a refund?

To initiate a refund, the User must send an email to with the necessary details of their case and include the invoice sent by the company. All refund cases will be responded to within 72 working hours, from Mon to Fri, 10 am to 6 pm. Refunds, if eligible, will be processed in the original mode of payment used by the User while requesting the medical certificate, with processing time varying by the payment gateway, as per their policies.
